The Hangover

A couple of years ago (2009) a movie called The Hangover was released. It was (and still is) an icon for anyone who has lived a similar experience (being realistic).

Who has not had a night in which you can't tell the next day? No matter how hard you try, your memories fade before midnight and you have no idea of what had happened. You don't know how you had wake up  either in your bed, a friend's couch, in a park, or in jail. All you know is that you've been drinking the night before with friends and surprisely you end up somewhere else, probably out of money or without you cellphone, with fewer clothes than usual, with a splitting headache, ceaseless gags and several  bruises in your  body.

Basically the film is inspired by that. Four friends, as any group of friends, go to Las Vegas to celebrate the bachelor party of one of them, and they end up on a wild adventure that no one can remember next morningOne of them is lost, they have been in the hospital, unwittingly kidnapped  Chinese mobster, stoled Mike Tyson's tiger, took a police car, took off a tooth, and one of them ends up married to a hoe! Yeah, it sounds like a big Hollywood production, we do not think anybody will come to pass something like that, but  we had also have very crazy, but realistic, experiences.

We decided to do a post about this film, as we consider the amazing effect it causes. You end up seeing the movie and automatically your body craves the need of alcohol and wild parties. It  is the perfect movie to see on the evening before a party. If you have not seen it yet, watch it! And for those who already seen it, watch it again!

PS: The sequel to the movie, called The Hangover: Part II, has just been released. The story takes place in Bangkok, when the same group of friends travel to Thailand for the wedding of one of them, and again the night before the wedding the most  amazing things happen to them under the influence of alcohol! Is still in theaters for another week, so go and watch it, if you don't reach it at the theater, I recommend buying both parts and enjoy! (If it's on blu ray, even better).
